*** wood pieces arrive unmasked, and have varying wood coloring due to the lasering process. Any soot or char coloring can be painted over with acrylic paint pens to create beautiful works of art, OR can be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any char if you want to keep the wood blank. A small campfire smell is normal, and dissipates after a few hours.
