Our Story
Hi! I’m Catherine, here’s a little bit about how I started CPQH!
I built my polymer clay earring business, LunarLove Design Co in my small Florida apartment after falling in love with polymer clay during the pandemic. I quickly found a passion for designing clay tools and serving other polymer clay artists. After opening my Etsy shop I learned that there was a big demand for quality clay cutters, so over the next few months I worked on designing my cutters to be sharper and sturdier. I connected with my customers and felt called to help polymer clay artists with their sales. Especially after struggling to sell my own polymer clay earrings.
I already had a background in teaching craft parties to children and senior citizens through a past job as a program coordinator. And I had been doing casual clay earring parties with my girlfriends back in Florida so I started offering clay parties to the public. After many failed attempts and learning experiences like parties that ran well past their time, overspending on supplies, and an inability to get people signed up; I learned how to effectively market, fill, and coach clay parties. This was challenged when I moved to a quiet town in North Carolina, with no friends or family. I put my skills into action and my first party sold out in 24 hours!
So after many successful parties and seeing how the polymer clay community struggled to sell their beautiful earrings, I realized there was a need for an all-in-one resource for helping clay makers learn to coach their own parties using the skills they already have. I love connecting with my coaches and guiding them to consistent and reliable revenue through polymer clay parties.
